Cantieri Viviani 2018
A great artist lives in time with his work. But a great artist also lives, and for a long time, in the days of those who know his thoughts. To know is to be part of a virtuous chain that unites generations and crosses time, leaves its mark, lays seeds of knowledge which in turn give luxuriant fruit and new seeds. Thus, the work of Raffaele Viviani, his thought, his writings for the theater, his music, his poems, the stories of his life and what has been written and said about him continue to mark the new generations who they become aware of it.
Cantieri Viviani is the project designed to contribute to the knowledge and dissemination of the work and personality of Raffaele Viviani. Born in 2017 from the commitment of those who had previously sought opportunities to celebrate it and with the decisive contribution of the Regione Campaina and Fondazione Campania dei Festival, Cantieri Viviani is an initiative of which I have been and am the author and responsible. Over the years, and with the help of experts and collaborators of international standing such as prof. Antonia Lezza and prof. Pasquale Scialò, Cantieri Viviani addressed above all to the younger generations by creating and proposing important events aimed at knowledge and enhancement, on the work and the human, poetic, cultural, theatrical and musical territory of the great author born in Castellammare di Stabia on 10 January born in 1888 and died in Naples on March 22, 1950, receiving the artistic and cultural contribution of numerous actors, musicians, artists, operators in the sector, scholars and experts of the work of the great author and actor from Stabia, as well as educational and production structures of the Regione Campania, Cultural Institutions, Music Schools, University and Higher Education Institutes active in this sector.
