International Affairs and Cultural Cooperation
Since 2007, Fondazione Campania dei Festival has initiated and promoted cultural initiatives and projects aimed at supporting cooperation relations in the international sphere. Direct contact with representatives of the artistic, cultural and institutional sector of European and non-European countries has always been at the top of the agenda of our project activity since the very first year of the Foundation's foundation.
Over the years, with the concrete support of the Campania Region, the Fondazione has in fact gradually extended its range of action to foster knowledge and the exchange of relations and good practices throughout the country.
There have been many and varied lines of action in recent years in the area of cooperation on various levels: from live performances to the third sector, with training workshops and social solidarity projects, to the enhancement of the region's heritage through the performing arts, passing through exhibitions, public meetings, conferences, publications and publishing projects - the Fondazione has chosen to project itself onto the international area with a long-term vision.
With numerous initiatives in the field, the Fondazione aspires to the realisation of strategic objectives for the growth, development and redevelopment of the region's artistic, cultural, landscape and architectural capital.
The Fondazione's ambition to create a model in dialogue with the international fabric has thus led to the consolidation and branching out of an extensive network of contacts with foreign countries, based on the principle of sharing ideas, artistic actions and operational tools in synergy with cultural organisations, associations, universities, language and culture institutes, and national and international networks.
Through its commitment to permanent networking activities and, at the same time, to the activation of fruitful collaborations with other countries, the Fondazione aspires to create an ecosystem capable of welcoming artists, theatre ensembles and professionals from the creative sector, and to reaffirm the transversal role of culture as a valuable and relevant resource for inclusion and social innovation objectives.
Faced with the current challenges posed to the international community, the Fondazione wishes to constructively orientate the prospects for the promotion and enhancement of Italian creativity abroad, reaffirming its centrality in the framework of cultural cooperation policies through its Festivals.
Projects
We organise festivals, artistic and cultural projects in the Campania region, projecting ourselves into a dialogue with national and international realities.
Networking
We promote the exchange of knowledge and models of good practice for cooperation with Language and Culture Institutes, embassies, universities and research institutions, national and international networks, festivals, associations and museums.
Venues and Cultural Heritage
We support the enhancement of the cultural, architectural and landscape heritage of the Campania region through the creation of multidisciplinary projects.
