riparare/reparieren/repare Something is broken. Do we have to throw it away? Can we repare it? Or can we leave it like this? In our project we want see what ‘to repare’ means: Things can be repared, but also relationships or communities. Maybe even you and I. How do we do it? We don’t know yet, we will try out. What we already know: it takes time to repare. The inclusive Theatre Group of the Coop. Sociale Immaginaria. Works together with Charlotte Pfeifer on this research on sustainability and recreation.
CHARLOTTE PFEIFER
Germany
Charlotte Pfeifer is a theatre director, actress, producer and author. She loves to combine theatre with visual arts, music, and choreography, creating works outside, in public spaces. She conducts workshops to stimulate creativity, for both adults and children. Pfeifer began working at the Schule für Schauspiel Hamburg as an actress while studying Literature and Philosophy at the Universität Hamburg. At the moment, she works both as a solo performer and in collaboration with large companies and with the artists-group Traummaschine Inc. She also works as an actress for other directors, taking her to work in different parts of Germany.
ENZO MIRONE
Sant’Angelo a Cupolo
Enzo Mirone is an actor, director, video maker, performer, and musician. His artistic training includes Decroux body mime, Mejerchol’d biomechanics, circus specialties, Commedia dell’Arte, Balinese dance, Kathakali dance, acrobatic arts and music. Since 2013, he has been working on the project “From the places of vertigo”, based on teaching the basic technique and the use of stilts, in order to meet and tell the life of children and adolescents from different parts of the world, with particular attention to marginal realities. He performed in Africa (Senegal, Gambia) and India (Tamil Nadu).
THE CONTEXT
Coop. Sociale Immaginaria
The Cooperativa Sociale Immaginaria was born in 2012 and works in various fields. It acts on a local and European level. It involves voluntary associations, youth forums, multipurpose centers, schools, organizations and institutions in the projects. The team includes cultural operators, professional artists and performers, designers, communication managers, supported by members and young volunteers. The mission is to provide cultural and socioeducational animation to the local community, with the aim of empowering social inclusion and improving the quality of life of vulnerable groups (children, young people, the disabled, migrants and refugees).
