Florian Bösel/Teatro Civico 14

Teatro Civico 14 (CE)

PROJECT
Recipients: immigrants welcomed in centers of the province of Caserta, asylum seekers, holders of international protection, Italian students under 30

“Since we will be working with migrants (and professional actors) we’ll attend to the ancient story of Aeneas – tells Florian Bösel. His flight from the destroyed Troy looking for a new place to call home resembles a modern refugee story particularly well. We will be working with the method of “Paper Theatre” where the participants use paper reels to form the scenery and the costumes while always asking themselves: What do I want from the paper? What does the paper want from me? Also we will work in a very process orientated way. It is important to me that the refugees just feel like people – not as outsiders for a change”.
