Christian Costa/Associazione Teens’Park

Scuola Secondaria di primo grado “Gravante” di Grazzanise – Caserta

THE PROJECT
Target groups:
teenagers coming from different countries and Italian teens from Grazzanise and Castel Volturno

Using performative languages to bring out genius loci, the urgencies of the territory, the mythologies connected to our own blood, but also to address the international political situation, about which we have to say something. «After last year’s work on the pine forest of Castel Volturno, now destroyed, – says Christian Costa – and on the aggressive and paradoxical local architecture using the filter of Italo Calvino’s Invisible Cities, this year we focus on white whales, on the environmental disaster, on community building, on art as an instrument of democracy. Heil Beuys! What whispers will rise from the salt expanses? What cries will come down from heavens ablaze?».
